Willow Oak Contemporary Ballet is a professional dance company committed to artistic excellence, creative development, choreographic discovery, and dance education. WOCB is dedicated to the continued development of accessible arts in the community while demonstrating a strong commitment to the diversity among our audiences and artists.

About Us

Willow Oak Contemporary Ballet was founded in 2007 by Tamu Wilson Ortenzio and Dianna Jones in Baton Rouge,

Louisiana. The company repertoire includes choreography ranging in style from classical to contemporary. WOCB celebrates the art and concept of movement by promoting and producing works by exceptional artists. WOCB is a dance company dedicated to the continued development of performing arts by creating and open forum for the expression of movement, choreographic exploration and genre integration. The Company performs and rehearses in both New York and Baton Rouge.
